Important:

  • After you download the setup file, the smart screen may by triggered by Windows (Windows 8 or newer) because the installation file is still new and not recognized by Windows. You just ignore the warning and proceed to the installation by following the steps below: Image of Windows Step 1
  • If Windows SmartScreen pops up: Image of Windows Step 1
  • Click on More Info: Image of Windows Step 1
  • Click on Run anyway: Image of Windows Step 1

Important:

Because the installer is not signed, so you cannot just double click on the installer to run it. There are two ways to resolve this:

– You should go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy and Allow apps downloaded from Anywhere

– Or you can go to Finder, right click on the installer, and then click Open
